Also known as an eye strap, these U-shaped fittings are used to provide a strong and secure attachment point for various fittings.
Forged lacing eyes offer additional strength when compared to pressed lacing eyes.
The addition of the ferrule gives a super smooth surface for rope to run around.
Lacing eyes can serve as anchor points for blocks (pulleys), allowing for the redirection of lines to create more efficient or manageable pulling angles.
